Could be because I’m a SUCH A FAN..Could be because I love sports so much..Could be because I love HISTORY so much…Hmm, Could be because I’m one of those people who can see/recognize when HISTORY is being made…Could the reason I ask so many questions be because you never ask…?
Here’s my Q’s, Now it’s your turn…Come on…Turn around and show me that A:
How many times has a former “MVP” coached his team to an NBA Championship?
How many player/coaches have one the NBA Championship in their first season in that role?
Of that number of coaches, How many were a “Superstar"?
How many were considered among, if not, the Worlds Greatest Player not only of their era, but in their sport overall?
The A: was 1 you A:
This is why I love HISTORY!! This is why the NBA is still & will always be FANtastic. The world is getting watching the chance to see something that no one has ever seen before. Kobe Bryant aka Bean aka Mamba aka THE BLACK MAMBA aka The 8th Wonder aka STILL 8, he just divided a little...Seems all that Kobe had left in the tank a few years ago was 2 4’s…I guess NOW we know what Phil said to get him to change his mind and stay in LA…
All respect to Phil Jackson, I happen to think that he’s the greatest coach in the NBA. He’s finishing in Los Angeles what he started in Chicago…he’s once again turned the greatest player into a coach, and he did it all as planned. True, Phil Jackson is best known for his “Triangle Offense” and his “Wisdom”, but his intelligence is vastly underrated. Phil Jackson knew that if he ever had a shot at winning another championship he’d have to put part of the coaching into Mr. Bryant’s hands. Think Don Nelson, Avery Johnson..Only this time the ownership was patient enough to see if it would work..
4 NBA Championships..3 with Shaq…1 without. 1 NBA MVP & 1Gold Medal..All those rings and none will mean as much as #1 as a COACH.
Who knew that all it took was a “TEAM” full of talent? Kobe Bryant may in fact be the Best Player in the NBA, but he’s not the best “player” on his team. The best player on the Lakers is, the Lakers…Makes sense when you look at the Wins & Losses, when you look at that line you don’t see any individual numbers…Kobe Bryant is just the one who turned “Hand Down, Man Down” into a repeat 5-Second Sequence <<<<.
Here’s a Hotline Question:
Hey, what do you do now LeBron? Seems as though when no one was looking the snake bit the King…Kobe Doin’ Work, is Kobe Raising the Bar…Wow, not only that but seems that not only did he beat you in your place, he took your “scowl” all while letting you polish the throne…
That’s one of my “theories”…Have 24 to hear another?
Either all that I said up there is true or the truth is…Kobe must have found out that Applebee's was having the 2 for $20 and figured, why not only prove that I’m already King of New York..why not also show that the "Knight” on a board is the one you should fear in a game of chess...
Off subject and to my end…I’ve gotta tell someone to tell someone about this kick ass family that I met..Who knew that an Expedition would lead to a story…Shit, I guess I did take a mental picture then…In addition to the people I squeeze in here at the end..Is it okay if I give a frog a “shout out”?? I Love Spelling Bees…
Pronouncer: “Your Word is, RESOLVE.”
Contestant: “Can you use it in a sentence?”
Pronouncer: “Resolve, Resolve is that thing within you that you’ll remember you have when you’re stressing over finals in Law School…Resolve”
Contestant: “(Your Name Here)”.
Lol.3nd
If you didn’t get the last part, it’s okay..You don’t know me, but I think that’s my way of making friends…
Final Thought:
I think that we should all want to be a “Player/Coach”. I know I am, and no it’s not because of Kobe..It’s because I’m not afraid to pursue a dream while establishing a purpose…
Evidence, What Kind of Evid3nc3?
